Everywhere around us, the rate of change feels exponential, and that it is happening faster than at any time in our history. Technological advancement and the 4th industrial revolution continue to reconfigure the industries, organisations and ways of working with which we have become so familiar.

But as technology rapidly alters the context and environment around us, so too it exacts another phenomenon. Once a limiting factor to progress, technology is now the driving factor to progress. The limiting factor to sustained progress, value creation and competitor outperformance is less and less technology, and more and more to do with people. People and their ability to rapidly learn and unlearn. For people to redefine not just what to think, but how to think. And for people to adapt to the new ways of organising and working, all around them.
